In-Home Assessment
The assessment covers the trip to your home and professional evaluation of the reported appliance problem.
- Evaluation of reported symptoms with relevant testing
- Clear observations and repair recommendations
- Upfront Blue Book repair quote when a repair is recommended
- Repair work performed only with your approval
The $99 assessment fee is separate from the repair price and is not applied toward the repair. Repair parts and labor are quoted using standardized appliance Blue Book job-rate pricing rather than hourly billing. A repair is never automatically authorized simply because an assessment has been scheduled.
Standard Dryer Vent Cleaning
$49 collected when scheduling covers the in-home assessment and remains due even if cleaning cannot safely or effectively be performed. $175 is collected after the standard cleaning is completed; if cleaning cannot be performed, the $175 cleaning charge is not due.
Additional work · only when needed
These additional charges are not included in the $224 standard cleaning total. Any additional work and charges are explained and approved before the work is performed.
